Capper Flying Club

Club Profile

Capper Flying Club was established in the 1946. The club currently has 2 Cessna 182's fully IFR equipped. Both are hangered next to each other at Van Nuys airport. We are limiting our membership to 19 pilots. This provides for more access to the aircraft. Some members have been in the club for over 30 years! The club continues to provide a safe, convenient, and economical means of flying. The club is set up as a non-profit corporation which provides a more organized and easier membership structure. This allows pilots to become members for less money than most clubs and provides for more organized club decision making. The club has quarterly meetings, as required by the corporate status of the club, to discuss any club matters and direct any actions needed. The club has elections once a year at theJanuary meeting to elect the five board members.
